Rock-narrated puppet show by the Band Known as Seawater Bliss
The Band Known as Seawater Bliss are planning a multi-media musical frenzy telling the story of the siege of Syracuse by Athens during the Peloponnesian War!
As Michael tells it, "this will involve a song, a little reading from Thucydides, and a visual element which is still fuzzy. I think there will be some projected video, but in accordance with the cardboard motif I've also been thinking of telling the story via a kind of cardboard cutout puppet show."
The update? Indeed a cardboard cutout puppet show, which will be recorded and projected onto one of the gallery walls in real time. Their show is the first to go on, so make sure you get tickets and are there at the beginning.
